Our house has been a little chaotic since the arrival of my sister in law and her daughter. They have just moved to Manitoba and are staying with us for a little while. The kids are having a blast but 4 kids 5 and under is pretty busy! S was sick last night with a quick stomach bug, seemed fine this morning and I have my fingers crossed that no one else gets it. I was figuring it would be inevitable, especially for his cousin since she was all over him last night before he threw up. He was complaining that her hugs were hurting him and now we know why, the poor guy had an achy body.
My sister in law is talking crazy and trying to convince me that it would be good to start running. I do believe it would be good for my level of fitness, but I don't know if my body could handle it especially after hurting my knee in hockey this year. I'm off to watch a movie, and sit on the couch with a bag of chips. :)

Happy Easter!
We had a nice laid back weekend at our house! The kids were so excited about the Easter Bunny coming and we were woken up pretty early this morning. They had a blast dying eggs.

Poor R didn't get to join in the fun. Right now she seems to be on the outside watching the fun, wanting to be a part of it but just not there yet. Her brother and sister love her to pieces and give her a lot of attention. It is so sweet to see S reading her stories (he is doing awesome with his reading, and is so proud that he can read full books on his own) and T always bringing her toys and giving her hugs (although they can be a little aggressive at times).
The kids are also looking forward to their Aunt and cousin moving close by! Only another few weeks to go! :)
We spent the afternoon playing Battleship at our house. S learned how to play this afternoon and could not get enough. He challenged Grandma to a game before supper and pulled off a win! He is growing up so fast!

One of the best parts of the recital was being able to perform for the people they themselves specially invited. They were so excited to hand out
