We have movement!

T has had an awesome afternoon and is now using her arm! I am so relieved. I'm guessing it took so long for her to regain full use just because of how long she went before having her arm put back in place. Now we will just have to be very careful for the next several weeks but I think she is on the mend! Thank you for all of your well wishes! I feel like a weight has just been lifted off my shoulders! Happy Thursday, tonight is our opening of the new location of Rhubarb Roots in the Altona mall!

My Heart Is Breaking...

T and S had a little accident this weekend while they were playing in their bedroom. It is difficult getting the full story from kids this age but all we know is S was holding T's hand he fell and her arm twisted (at least that is the most we can put together from their stories). T has not moved her arm since. She had x-rays on Saturday (no break as far as they could see, but it was a real struggle to get her to straighten her arm). We went back today and after a 2 1/2 hour wait, 6 x-rays all while she was screaming and crying (not to mention mom) and then a twist and bend to put it back in place and she is still hurting :( The Doc thought it was dislocated but believed she would be able to move it after he put it back in place...
